Gulf Stabilizers Industries (GSI) is a joint venture between Zamil Group Holding Company, Middle East’s leading industrial manufacturing company and Chemtura Corporation (a new company formed after the merger of Great Lakes Chemical Corporation USA and Crompton Corporation USA in July 2005), the fourth-largest publicly traded specialty chemicals company in the USA and the world’s largest marketer and producer of plastic additives.

GSI was formed in early 1997 and started production in early 2001 as a chemical manufacturer and blender preparer of antioxidants and polymer additives.
